Eligibility Criteria

Hindustan Aerospace and Engineering offers an Aircraft maintenance Engineering course which is approved by the Director General of Civil Aviation, Ministry of Civil aviation, Govt. of India under CAR 147(Basic)

The course is offered in different categories as per CAR 66. This institute covers the major categories of training as follows:

Cat. B1.1 (Mechanical-Aeroplane Turbine) – The Engineers licensed in this category certify the maintenance of Heavy Aeroplane fitted with a Jet-Engine. If anyone has a dream to work in Indian of foreign Airlines in the Mechanical category He / She must opt the category B.1.1

Cat. B 2(Avionics) – Engineers licensed in this category certify (As per the scope of Authorization) the various Avionics systems fitted on any Kind of Aircraft. Avionics Systems means the electrical system, Instrument Systems, and Radio Navigation Systems.

Students of any Nationality may be admitted for the A.M.E. course. The minimum Educational qualification is as below:

The applicant must have passed 10+2 examination in Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics from recognized board or university or have completed three years Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical/Electronics/Aeronautical engineering from recognized board or university.

Apart from this student shall be subjected to a Medical Examination before they are admitted to the Institute, by a Doctor (To be attested & certified by Registered Medical Practitioner holding at a least MBBS degree) & applicant age at the time of admission should not be less than 14 years

Students of any nationality can apply for the A.M.E course. Minimum aircraft maintenance education engineering qualification the institute demands is as mentioned below,

• 10+2 Degree in Physics, Mathematics, and Chemistry from registered educational board or universities. Or, the students with 3-years diploma courses in Electrical/Aeronautical/Mechanical, Electronics engineering from recognized universities can apply for A.M.E.
• The students must undergo Medical Examination before their admission to this institute. The applicant's age at the time of admission procedure must not be less than 14 years.
